Summoning

The player-facing form of Attunement.

Translation

The world calls the ritual Attunement.

The Codex may use the word Summoning when describing acquisition systems, banners, Pity, Spark, and duplicate conversion.

Both describe the same ritual from different perspectives.

Prisms

Prism is the canonical infrastructure term.

Oath Prism is the standard vessel used for most Attunements.

Covenant Prism marks a higher ceremony, reserved for featured or exceptional revelations.

Banners

A Banner defines the active Attunement pool.

Each Banner specifies featured units, cost, rarity rates, Pity thresholds, Spark requirements, and duplicate conversion rules.

Some Banners begin with Banner Select before Attunement.

Others proceed directly to the ritual.

Pity and Spark

Featured Banners include both Pity and Spark systems.

Pity protects the player from an endless drought.

Spark records steady progress toward a featured answer.

The exact thresholds belong to live balance and Banner rules.

These systems ensure continued progress while preserving the excitement of discovery.

Duplicates

Duplicates are never wasted.

Additional Oath Prisms are refined into unit-specific Prism Shards.

Those shards strengthen that unit through its progression path and cannot be transferred between Oathsworn.

The Codex records the Attunement. The world remembers who answered.
