Attunement
The act of approaching an oath until it answers.
Definition
Attunement is approach without possession.
A living pattern comes near a preserved oath.
The oath recognizes, or it does not.
It is the moment recognition becomes contact.
What It Is Not
It is not ownership.
It is not extraction.
It is not a command spoken over the dead.
Attunement fails when response is mistaken for obedience.
The Answer
An oath answers when the living pattern before it belongs near what the oath still carries.
The answer becomes defender, pressure, warning, or bond.
The form matters less than the truth: it was not forced.
Lawful Calling
Proper calling requires more than force.
Safety anchors. Harmonic buffers. Lawful oath anchors.
Strip those away and the circle may still answer.
That answer is no longer clean.
Known Associations
Attunement stands beside Witnesses, Oath Prisms, Oath-Weavers, Compact Seals, banner rituals, and the first breath of the constellation.
Attunement is not taking hold of the oath. It is being answered by it.
