Sigil
The world's answer to a promise.
Definition
A Sigil is the world's answer to a promise.
It says: I heard you.
It says: keep it, and I will help.
If the promise breaks, the Sigil fades because the connection has lost its truth.
What It Is Not
It is not decoration.
It is not a category of power.
It is not a school of magic wearing a prettier name.
A Sigil is recognition made visible.
Pressure
A Sigil can be carried.
It can be read, strained, synchronized, inverted, or consumed.
Not everyone can carry one without breaking.
Fewer can let two sigils answer in the same line of action.
Relation to Resonance
When sigils answer together, the relation becomes Sigil Resonance.
Resonance reveals which promises can stand near each other without breaking.
Known Associations
Sigils stand beside Lyria, Vex, Oath-Weavers, resonance anchors, prism pylons, carved warning marks, and the deeper grammar of promises under pressure.
A Sigil is not the oath itself. It is the mark left when the oath begins to show its shape.
